As part of Chinmaya Mission UK's celebration of 75 years of Chinmaya Mission, we're bringing something unprecedented to London - set to be one of the largest Ganga Aarti ceremonies ever staged in Europe.

Two ancient rivers, one offering. For thousands of years, Ganga Maata has received prayers of fire and song on her banks at dusk. Now, this living Vedic ritual comes to the Thames — carried by two rivers that have each shaped civilisations and generations of prayer, meeting in a single act of devotion on the historic Royal Steps at Greenwich.

A full day of culture awaits: community stalls, food, live music and dance, building to the magical Aarti ceremony as the Sun sets over the river.
